Bio-based Polyamide PA5X Bicomponent Composite Elastic Fiber

The bio-based PA5X bicomponent composite endows the fiber with
long-lasting elasticity. The fabric is wear-resistant and skin-friendly,

Preparative technique
With bio-based PA5X as the raw material, the specially designed side-by-side spinneret plate and the twin-screw melt spinning process is adopted to produce the bio-based polyamide PA5X bicomponent composite elastic fiber with isomeric structure through wet-heat setting.

The downstream application guidance
Weaving: It is suitable for the weaving of woven and knitted fabrics.
Pre-setting: Process the fabric in boiling water at 100℃ for 10~30
minutes, and ensure that excessive tension is not applied to the
fabric during this process.
Pre-treatment: Preferentially use batch process for oil removal and
desizing.
Dyeing: Dye with dyes specifically for chinlone, Use nylon-specific
dyes such as acid dyes, metal complex dyes, etc., at the dyeing
temperature of 95~100C and the heating rate of 0.5~1℃ /min.
Post-setting: Adopt the setting temperature of 120~160℃, with
appropriate overfeed of the fabric width to avoid elasticity loss
caused by excessively high setting temperatures or stretching processes.

Q: What unique properties does the bicomponent composite structure bring to the elastic fiber?
A: The bicomponent composite structure takes advantage of the difference in intrinsic shrinkage characteristics between the two components. Through post- treatment, the elastic fiber is imparted with the characteristic of natural and permanent spiral curling. Such curling, stemming from the intrinsic difference in the properties of the fiber, is permanent and therefore provides more stable and long-lasting elasticity. At the same time, this structure also imparts excellent bulkiness and elastic recovery rate to the fiber, and enhances the color fastness
and hand feeling of the fabric, enabling it to provide better wearing comfort and aesthetics in apparel textiles.
