Anti-snagging and Antiultraviolet Polyamide 6 Fiber

News 630

Reasons for recommendation

With anti-ultraviolet, anti-pilling, anti-snagging and high abrasion

resistance properties, the fabric boasts a soft and delicate touch,

durability, and shape retention. It is an excellent choice for consumers

outdoor wear.

Preparative technique

The anti-ultraviolet master batches are blended with the polyamide 6 chips, and the spinneret plate with a special cross-section is used to produce the fiber through melt spinning and special high-drawing processes.

The downstream application guidance

Weaving: lt can be directly used in woven or knitted fabrics.

Setting:The setting temperature is recommended to be <200℃, otherwise the elasticity of the fabric will be reduced or lost.

Dyeing: Same as the conventional dyeing process of chinlone, with water flow rate being slowed down appropriately.

Q: What are the differences between anti-snagging and anti-ultraviolet

polyamide 6 fiber and ordinary anti-ultraviolet fiber?

A:The production of anti-snagging and anti-ultraviolet polyamide 6 fiber adopts the low-temperature high-drawing process. During the high-drawing process, the intermolecular forces within the fiber are stretched and strengthened, resulting in increased fiber strength. This technology primarily aims to prevent pilling caused by mono-filament breakage by enhancing the breaking strength of mono-filament, while simultaneously improving the product’s anti-snagging and abrasion resistance performance. In addition, appropriately lowering the setting

temperature can prevent the filament from curling due to excessive heat, thus avoiding an increase in fiber ends on the fiber surface that may intertwine and cause pilling. Furthermore, the adoption of a special profiled cross-section design increases the specific surface area of the fiber, enhancing its ability to absorb and reflect ultraviolet rays. And the grooved wicking effect improves the fiber’s moisture absorption and moisture permeability performance.
