Flame-retardant and Anti-melt- drop Polyester Fiber

News 390

Reasons for recommendation

With stable flame-retardant and high anti-melt-drop properties

obtained through the copolymerization modification, the products are

self-extinguishing from the fire, which can significantly reduce the rate

of flame spreading during a fire, and effectively reducing the secondary

damage to the human body during a fire.

Preparative technique

Flame-retardant and anti-melt-drop agents are introduced during the esterification process, and flame-retardant and anti-melt-drop polyester pellets are created through polycondensation and pelletizing, before the fibers are prepared using the melt spinning technique.

Q: What are the advantages of flame-retardant and anti-melt-drop

polyester fibers over conventional flame-retardant polyester fibers?

A: One of the flame-retardant mechanisms of conventional flame-retardant polyester fibers is to consume heat by melting droplets generated by the melting of fibers, thus slowing down the burning speed of fabrics. However, high-temperature melt droplets will cause serious harm to the human body. While flame-retardant and anti-melt-drop polyester fibers combined with specially developed synergistic

anti-melt-drop agents, which can further strengthen the flame-retardant effect and the durability of the fibers, greatly reducing the occurrence of secondary injuries, and effectively ensuring the safety of the human body. The fabrics are soft and comfortable, and can be widely used in automotive interiors, curtain fabrics and home textiles.
