Micro-denier Sheath-Core Composite Heat-bondable Fiber

News 370

Reasons for recommendation

By achieving fine denier, the sheath-core composite fiber effectively

breaks the long-standing monopoly of foreign products. With its low

bonding temperature and free of adhesives, the fiber exhibits complete

green and environmental protection qualities. It realizes the double

leap in quality and environmental protection, and brings new options

for downstream users.

Preparative technique

Two kinds of chips with different melting temperature were extruded by twin-screw spinning machine to make the micro-denier sheath-core composite heat-bondable fiber with low melting temperature PE as sheath and high melting temperature PET as core using the sheath-core composite spinning technology.

The downstream application guidance

Blending:The blending ratio can be adjusted between 30%~70%. High-strength fibers canbe properly integrated for products that require more strength.

Application of fibers

industrial textiles:Paper diaper/Sanitary napkin/Medical protective equipment/Gauze mask

Q: Does this product provide any distinct advantages in specific

applications?

A: The fiber’s fine denier provides it the utmost softness, making it suitable for use in diapers to provide the best possible care for infants’ sensitive skin and lessen friction-induced discomfort. Because of the fiber’s low melting point and strong heat-bonding qualities, diapers’ structure is more stable and less likely to delaminate or deform, guaranteeing a snug fit throughout babies’ activities and avoiding side leaks.
