Biocomponent Composite Polyamide Fiber

News 1480

Reasons for recommendation

With bio-based polyamide (PA56) as the core material, it has lower

carbon emissions, exhibiting prominent advantages in environmental

protection. Its excellent elasticity and dyeability expand the diversity of

elastic fabric products, adding value to high-quality textiles.

Preparative technique

The copolymer synthesized from PA56 and PA6, which is combined with PA56 and then undergoes side-by-side composite spinneret assembly and bicomponent melt spinning processes. The elasticity of the fiber is achieved through different shrinkage rates.

Features of fibers and finished products

Properties of fibers and features of finished products

. Increased content of bio-based polyamide 56.

. Good elasticity; the elasticity of the fiber enables ammonia-free elasticity at the fabric level.

.Anti-crease,skin-friendly, breathable fabric with good dyeability.

The downstream application guidance

Weaving: Suitable for both knitting and weaving; such parameters as width and weaving density should be reasonably arranged based on the shrinkage recovery rate of the product.

Dyeing: It is recommended to use low-temperature dyeing with a slower heating rate. The dyeing temperature should be≤98℃.

Setting: For the setting process of the finished product after dyeing, it is recommended to use the temperature of 165℃, with adjustments to temperature and speed made as appropriate depending on the shade of the color.

Application of fibers

Clothing textiles:Leisure wear/Sportswear/Lingerie

Q: From the perspective of market demand, what are the characteristics

of the bicomponent composite polyamide fiber?

A: The copolymerization of bio-based PA56 with PA6 can achieve the goal of low carbon and environmental protection. It aligns with the sustainable design concept of a single component. For the development of elastic fabric, it serves as an alternative to adding elastane, achieving good elasticity and dyeability.
